Britta Volkmer discovered origami about 7 to 8 years ago, and it has blown her mind. 

It was a love affair from the start, bordering on obsession at times. But mostly it was just incredible fun, amazement, and satisfaction. 

Origami has been there for her in good and bad times, giving hope, distraction, success, and failure all along the way. There are few things that compare to that first fold, the crack you hear on that piece of paper that has been chosen for the deed. 

And there are other insights Britta has gained through this magical marriage of math, geometry, and creative art, that she wants others to discover. She wholeheartedly recommends origami to anyone who would like to try something a bit left of the ordinary. 

Origami is her love, her passion and has never let her down. 

In the future she hopes to fold and pass on many more of her origami “moments”.
